5 Lessons from Positive People That Will Make You More Attractive

We all want to be admired, listened to, and respected. What is it that some people do that gets people to pay attention and follow their lead? Here are some things I’ve noticed that might be worth a try:

They ignore people who put them down
People with good self-esteem realize that not everyone will be supportive. In fact, several will be jealous and overly competitive. Why trust these people? They aren’t going to be straight with you anyway.

They have a real concern for others
It’s not so important that they do all the talking, and many of them are good listeners. They want to know what’s going on with other people, and will ask questions to find out what you are really thinking.

They have a sense of their power
They know that true power is not domination, but being part of a team. Whether it be a group of friends getting together or individuals sharing responsibilities at work—they don’t go it alone and know there is strength in numbers.

They have a sense of inner calm
Although they can feel as stressed as any of us, they do not show
it. Instead, they look for positive solutions to tackle challenges. They have learned to keep focused on what they can change, and realistically face what they can’t. They realize that worry and self-doubt get them nowhere.

They are truthful
What you see is what you get. They don’t put on airs or mislead you. They speak clearly and to the point. You don’t get the feeling like they are distorting the truth or exaggerating.
